Lino-printing on Fabric

Linocut Printmaking on Fabric
Beginner Friendly Art Class in Berlin

Join this creative, hands on printmaking workshop in Berlin and explore linocut through fabric and textile printing. This beginner friendly class is ideal for anyone curious about printmaking, whether you are just starting out or looking to expand your creative practice. Perfect timing as summer arrives, you will create your own printed tote bags, T shirts, sheets, and more, ideal as thoughtful handmade gifts.

To begin with, you will learn linocut, carving into a linoleum block to produce bold, graphic prints. You will explore how to break your design into remixable, puzzle like pieces for flexible compositions and playful experimentation. You will also learn the reduction technique, using a single block to build layered color prints with rich and dynamic results.

What is included:
All materials including linoleum, carving tools, inks, and fabrics

We will have tote bags available to print on during the workshop. If you would like to print on a specific size T shirt, you are welcome to bring your own cotton T shirt. Cotton works best for printing, and it is recommended to wash your fabrics before the workshop.

• Small group setting in a Berlin art studio
• Finished textile prints and new skills to take home

This workshop offers more than just classes. It is a chance to work alongside a supportive creative community, exchange ideas, and leave feeling inspired.
