Join this creative, hands-on printmaking workshop in Berlin and learn three classic techniques: linocut  & chine-colle. This beginner-friendly art class is ideal for anyone curious about printmaking, whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your creative practice.

To begin with, the course introduces you to linocut, where you’ll carve into a linoleum block to produce bold, graphic prints. You’ll also learn how to break your design into remixable puzzle-like pieces, which allows for flexible compositions and playful experimentation. Additionally, you’ll explore the reduction technique, where a single block is used to create multiple layers of color, resulting in rich, dynamic imagery.

The Chine-collé method is the perfect complement to of the linocut technique. It’s versatile method that adds texture, color, and depth by attaching delicate tissue paper or newspaper pieces to the print surface. It creates a layered, dynamic effect with subtle or bold contrasts.
